It is with great sadness that we intimate the death of former West member John Duff who passed away peacefully in the Glasgow Erskine Care Home yesterday. John, the former Rector of Kelvinside Academy from 1980 until 1998, was an active member of West in his day and was not only an accomplished squash player but also a stallwart of that section of the club that was so popular in the 1980s.
The condolences of everyone at Burnbrae are extended to John's family and friends.
