Despite a strong bid from Glasgow Hawks that could have seen them play their home games at Burnbrae from season 2019-20, the SRU have awarded the Super 6 franchises to Ayr, Melrose, Heriots, Watsonians, Boroughmuir & Stirling County........ this correspondent will keep his views on that geographical spread to himself for now!
