In light of government restrictions on public gatherings and the resulting pressure on emergency services and healthcare provision, Scottish Rugby has decided that there will be a period without domestic competition (or training) which will in the first instance be in effect up to, and including, 29 March 2020. This will impact rugby in all domestic league and cup fixtures, training, festivals and other rugby events which come under Scottish Rugby's jurisdiction.

Therefore, in line with Scottish Rugby direction there will be no collective training or fixtures played at Burnbrae at any age group. Scottish Rugby will continue to monitor the situation and provide further updates and advise of any further actions required which will be passed on at the earliest opportunity. Regardless of further direction the lunch planned for the 4th of April to coincide with what was the last 1st XV home fixture of this season is now cancelled.

I fully understand the frustrations that this brings (especially for this sport nut!) but we as a club have a responsibility to keep people safe and to follow the appropriate guidance. If there are any questions please do not hesitate to contact me on 07584 576034.
